Since it does not seam possible to upgrade my 4.9.0 installation to 5.x.... Spent 2 days fighting it!... I'm looking for another solution.

Is there a way, if I create a completely new clean install of 5 , to move the DNN 4.9 site to the new installation ?

I can copy the portal folder but not sure how to move the database info, including all the modules. Is there a guide or a tutorial to show how to do this.

The database would still be the wrong version so you would still need to upgrade first.  The only other solution would be to manually move everything over.
