Hi all,

I posted this on other section and found out later there is install section.

I just downloaded dotnetNuke_3.2.2_source.zip(newest version) and I am interested in content management part of this software. My development environment is asp.net 1.1 and vs 2003.

after I extracted the zip file to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\dotnetNuke\  ( on my local computer), I opened dotnetNuke.vbproj file in vs and then it tells me that web.config and favicon.ico.

What should I do? how can I enable asp.net 2.0 since their souce is developed in 2.0.

Thank you.

Betty

Rename release.config to web.config, ignore the missing favicon.ico file, and use .NET 1.1 with 3.x installs. If you want to use .NET 2.0, I suggest you use DNN4. DNN3 was developed against .NET 1.1, not 2.0, and may cause problems here and there. For a more stable .NET 2.0 environment, DNN4 is your answer.
