Here are the specs:
Running from a home server
OS: Microsoft Windows Home Server SP2
Procesor: Intel duo 2.GHZ
RAM: 2 GB

Visual Web Developer 2008 Express
SQL Server 2008 Express

Gaved Permision to IIS_WPG to 'forum' Dir and 'App_Data'.
Setup SMTP Mail Server and Worked.

Install All Options and even with no options exept for:

Authentication Systems:
1.ActiveDirectory yes/no
2.LiveID: yes
3.OpenID: yes

Providers:
ASP2MenuNavigatioProvider:     yes/no (05.01.00)
DNNDropDownNavigationProvider: yes/no (05.01.00)

Runs great internally with VWD 2008, but wont work correctly from the net. I get a /forum/Install/UnderConstruction.htm page all the time. What am I missing?

It's nothing with DNN, you have either a name resolution issue where you domain name points to another IP or a routing issue where your IP routes to a different system/site.

Thank you for ur replay Jeff but can u elavorate a bit more? I am hosting other asp pages out of my homeserver and they all work fine. To me it does not make any sence that it goes straght to this page and not to the default.aspx page and if is was pointing to another IP i would be getting a not found error but Im not getting any of this erros, is rederecting to this underconstruction htm page. Is there any change i need to make inside the config file that has to do with the domain name, or any other idea? Thx

Does any body have an idea why I'm been rederect to the install/underconstruction.htm page? There is got to be something internally doing this. I did not made any changes to any of the config files or find a place to point to my ip address. Please help thx.

WHS uses IIS 6 I'm guessing you have permissions issues since you posted this:

Gaved Permision to IIS_WPG to 'forum' Dir and 'App_Data'.

Is IIS_WPG what you have"Application Pool Identity" set to in IIS and also for IIS "Directory Security/Authentication" and on your web folder(s)?

You need to have your IIS "Directory Security/Authentication" set to the same account as you use for "Application Pool Identity" and finally you need to permission that same account with "Modify"; "Read&Execute"; "List Folder Contents"; "Read" and "Write" permissions on your web folders.

You should also verify the account under which you're running SQL Express. You've got a permissions disconnect somewhere....

I do not believe this is a "name resolution' or "IP routing issue". I can replicate the "Under construction" messaging if I incorrectly permission IIS, web folders or SQL...
