I have installed a new version of DNN 5.x community server on a dedicated Windows 2003 server and am having access problems. Any help anyone can give will be much appreciated.

Here are the basic details

1.       server : Windows 2003, with all SP, 1GB of memory & Plenty of free HD space

2.       Hosting: through www.1and1.com - it is a dedicated server.

3.       Domain: wellness4i.com registered through 1and1 service

4.       DNN: Latest version 5.x community edition installed through Web Installation service

5.       Database: MS SQL 2005 Enterprise Edition

 

Installation Procedures

1.       used the basic web installation

2.       declined installation of SQL 2008 Express since I have SQL 2005 Enterprise installed

3.       first steps of installation went through fine without an errors. Asked standard question as to which database, dnnuser ..etc and all good and went through fine without any errors. When asked which domain (Local host or a domain), I entered wellness4i.com which is registered through 1and1 service.

4.       got to the DNN setup after installation and answered all questions, portal was created and all is good.

now the problem

1.       I can only get to the site using this url http://wellness4i.com/A%20La%20Carte%20Wellness/

2.       If I try http://wellness4i.com it gives http 403 erorr

3.       if I try http://www.wellness41.com it gives http 400 error

I checked the portal settings under Host -> Portal (See below)

First line was entered by the setup steps and the other two lines I added in.

 

any help anyone can give as to what I did wrong would be much appreciated.
