I have a windows server  2008  installation of the Dotnetnuke 5.01.0 that I have been working with for a couple of months. Last night when I left it was working fine this morning when I attempted to login to the site remotely I got "This site is currently unavailable" when I attempt to login to the web from the server it is attempting to reinstall. The database IS available and all my custom installed application still exist under the current dotnetnuke directory so what have I done or what has happened for hte system to think it is a new install or needs to reinstall and more importantly how do I get around this issue without losing all the work done to this point.

I should also mention I am fairly new to the dotnetnuke world so do not overlook something simple that i have done.

Thank you  for any insight.

Jeff

Figured problem out, in SQL 2008 I had set the enforce password expiration on the server. The password had expired for the SQL user for the dotnetnuke installation as soon as I unchecked the enforce expiration the dotnetnuke portal came up as expected.
