I'm doing a quick site for my friend and I just did an install on a server (at hosting provider).  After I went through the install wizard... (successfully) I went to log in to start configuring everything for the site and got the following error:

"The requested URL /Login.aspx was not found on this server."

Now, how did that happen and how do I fix it?

-OR -

Does anyone know the default login page after an install (tab id)?

I need to get this up and running this week and need assistance.... so any suggestions would be more than welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I'm going to attempt to reinstall it... and hope that fixes things...

(the last time I did this on another project... everything got F---ed up and I lost important data.)

There is no login.aspx.  Everything is created and displayed via the default.aspx they are all inserted on the fly

I know that... that's why I asked the following question, "Now, how did that happen and how do I fix it?"

the next question is, now that I've done a fresh install (same set of install files, btw - and not doing anything differently than before) why does it tell me this?

Server Error in '/' Application.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Source Error:

The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL:

1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example:

  <%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %>

or:

2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application:

Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.
