I have installed DNN, but when trying to view from a browser, I must enter the server creditentials to login.  According to what I have read, bot NETWORK SERVICES and ASPNET USER both need full permissions.  The problem is I cannot find ASPNET USER on our Windows 2008 server.  Did something change between Windows 2003 and 2008?

The server credentials are the way youve set up IIS its not related to the file permissions.  Make suremyou allow anonymous access to your site in IIS.  Or better still use the Web Plaform Installer to install DNN. http://www.microsoft.com/web/download...

Are you using Windows Server 2008 (IIS 7) or 2008 R2 (IIS 7.5)? Which authentication options did you specify for your web site?
