Greetings,

I am trying to install DNN 5.4.4 on a new Windows 7 box with SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition and I can not get DNN to see the installed instance of SQL Server. I have 2 accounts that I have tried, have insured that the folder where DNN is installed in has the proper rights and the account that is running the web app in iis 7.5 has rights to that folder. I am running the virtual directory in classic mode.

Any ideas are appreciated....

Todd

Thank you kindly sir and thank you for making me aware of this article. The new app pool isolation features of IIS 7.5 will certainly help some of my apps. I actually had an installation issue with SQL Server on my new Windows 7 box. I am certainly not accustomed to the new version of IIS.
