Anyone know how to solve this?

I got the error when trying to upgrade the system from 5.4 to 5.5.

Upgrading DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 05.05.00

Current Database Version: 05.04.04

Upgrade Status Report

00:00:05.111 - Upgrading to Version: 05.05.00
00:00:05.117 - Performing General Upgrades

Server Error in '/' Application.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

The website is on a system with ASP.NET 2.0. Could that be the reason?

Fredrick;
Upgrade from what version?
Any 3rd party modules on the site and if so which ones?
Reading the error makes me curious as to what permissions your AppPool has for the web folder @ D:\HostingSpaces\wwwroot\Install
You should be setting the same account to 1 level below "Full Control".
Also, is .Net trust disabled or enabled?

<!-- set code access security trust level - this is generally set in the machine.config
    <trust level="Medium" originUrl=".*" />

I am upgrading from 5.04.04 to 5.5.

I do have a module which I have created my self but it has been working in the previous version.
I have my DotNetNuke installation on a web hotel. So I am not sure about the permissions. But it has also been working since I started using them.

I will start by check if it is something with my module.

Thank you for your reply.
