So I'm trying to start my own site and after googling tons of sites, I found this the better of them.  My question is about the, Community Edition software, dotnetnuke.com provides for free to help users that are less experienced in website building...like myself...lol  Ight so here's the question(s):  So as I mentioned before I am not as tech savvy as I'd like, to build a site and what not.  Even tho there is information that explains how to install the software on the server, I'm still not sure how to do it.  Is there a more detailed and understandable approach that is avialable?  Sometimes it's hard for me to understand since I know very little of anything related to building a site, such as some of the technical terms and what not.

I think once I can get past the intial installation, I'm hoping the rest will fall into place, once I finish reading the instruction manual...lol  The free host/server I found to use, www.byethost.com, is a good free host from what I'm told.  If I can get past this, I'll be good to go.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hope this is in the right place.  Thanx again for any help.

Please be aware that DotNetNuke does require Windows Hosting and a Microsoft SQL Server Database (or option to install SQL Server Express). As far as I can see, this does not meet the free hosting plan from byethost.com. You may consider using a paid hosting or a PHP based system instead.
