For testing purpose, I installed 5 instances of DNN on windows server 2003 and IIS 6. Now I've to remove the instances along but system is showing messages of file being in use and not able to delete some of files.
I tried additional softwares as well to find the process which is using the files but still could release the files from unidentified processes.

The issue is lasting for 5 months and still it has to be done because of audit requirement. We can not leave unnecessary files on server thats why it must be deleted.

I've tried deleting in safe mode but it too didn't work for me. Kindly assist me to remove unnecessary files of dnn.

I've removed virtual directory and tried but not done. I' stopped the IIS and tried and again couldn't delete files. Unlockit software shows; the files are not using by any process.
