I've just installed DNN 5.05.01 on my SBS 2008 Premium edition server. It mainly works but I have run into a few snags which I feel are likely permission related. The site opens up and appears to be connecting to SQL properly as I'm able to modify and add modules etc. The issue is that none of the site graphics will load for me. I simply see the red X in place of where the image or logo should be. Selecting properties of the image (or in my case red x) provides me the path which is correct. This indicates to me there must be a permission issue of some sort... As the installation instructions direct, I made certain to give the network service account (also my app pool account) full permissions to the DNN folder where the site is hosted. I've also gone into the Handler Mapping where I enabled script => execute. Since SBS 2008 doesn't officially have "local accounts" I'm wondering if I should be using something other than the network service. How do I go about using a different account? I know I need to provide the appropriate permission on the website folder (in my inetpub) and likely change the app pool account to match but how will DNN know to use this account?

Any advice is appreciated! My theory could likely be wrong...

Using Windows Explorer check the properties of one of the files in question. On the Properties General Tab at the bottom under attributes see if there is some text about 'Security' and an 'Unblock' button.  If so click Unblock and see if this fixes the issue.
OR
Are the images in the Sites own Portal folder (e.g. ...\Portals\0\...) ?
Log into DNN with an Admin account and go to Admin\File Manager. Click on the folder where the images are stored and make sure that the permissions (under the box showing the files. Are configured to allow all users to view.
