I cannot install, I keep getting the message "Version 05.00.00...FAILURE 400 - Generic failure".  I am using a remote db.  The db allows remote connections.  I am using a new db everytime.  The user is dbo.

I use this remote db for other ASP web sites with no issues.  Has anyone figured this out?

This is a remote instance of SQL server from my hosting provider.  I can connect remotely using sql mgmt studio, no problem.  Also, I use other db with another ASP.NET site.

Looks like the tables are being created, but I still get the error.  Everytime I start with a fresh, new db.

oops, I remember some code in previous versions trying to leverage permission settings - this might be a cause for 5.0 as well. did you consider upgrading to 5.5.1 or 5.6.0, which shall be available shortly?
