I have just tried for the second time to use Web Platform Installer and both times the result is that my WorldWideWeb Publishing service on my server stopped. I had to restart the service both times to restore webserver functionality. The first time it took a while to figure it out and I finally went into IIS and saw that ALL sites were STOPPED. So I looked at the service and realized it was stopped. So I just did my second try of using WPI for DNN 5.5.1 on a new website. WPI worked OK but when I tried to browse the site and use the installwizard.aspx to do the installation I could not reach the page. So I looked and again the WWW Publishing service was not started. I started it and now I am back to normal.

Has anyone else seen this type of issue? It seems repeatable and the results are pretty bad since it stops my webserver totally.

I've used WPI quite a few times over the past couple weeks, I haven't noticed this issue, but I wouldn't put it past WPI being able to stop (likely inadvertently) the processes
