Hi there DNN users and Experts,

I have a small issue, of which I cannot identify the problem.  I have a DNN portal which has been working fine, and is working fine except for one minor thing (kinda major)
When you type in the base URL / Portal Alias (gandf1.gigtxt.com.au) it redirects to
http://gandf1.gigtxt.com.au/~/Default.aspx?tabid=41&CategoryID=7
Which is an error, and creates a portal Alias "gandf1.gigtxt.com.au/~"

Anyone else had this issue? Know how to resolve it?
Given the redirect has teh CategoryID=7 thing in it, it might be Store Related?

Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

C

Hi there kerry and Sebastian, Sorry about the long delay in replying, Xmas happened, and this project got put on the back burner until now. kerry, I have not made any significant changes to the site. Installed the latest Store Module, uploaded a bunch of products etc, but no code changes, nothing to that effect. Sebastian, I am using DNN Version 05.06.00 (459) I have not adjusted the URL re-write rules. I haven't even installed the SEO re-write module I usually use to manage SEO re-writes. It is a plain vanilla site that I recently installed from scratch as I had all sorts of weird things happening on the last one, so I just dumped it and created a new one. Thoughts? Thanks again for your time and patience. C

btw... It appears to be some sort of Script that is adding the domain alias of URL/~ somehow? I am not really sure how. I have tried deleting it directly from the table PortalAlias, also from the Site Settings Page, but it keeps appearing back there. C
