I installed a brand new version of dnn 5.6.2.
when i open the site in visual studio and try to compile i get an error on page admin/Skins/jQuery.ascx.vb: 'Framework' is not a member of 'DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Controls.DotNetNuke'.

If i remove the code line DotNetNuke.Framework.jQuery.RequestRegistration() the project compiles.

Are you installing the source or install package? DotNetNuke does not currently support pre-compilation of the website code which will be automatically compiled "just-in-time" when the site is first loaded following an application shut down. Only the source code library, various providers and handlers, and most (but not all) modules are pre-compiled into assemblies in the site's /bin folder.

Yes - don't compile the website. There is no need to touch the install package with Visual Studio.
