Dear All,

I installed DotNetNuke_Community_05.06.01 in windows 7 and sql server 2008 and built my website; but when I copied the site and backup the database to move them to the server after creating clean database, install page appeared to me, How can I solve this problem?

Thank you very much.

Tamer Jarada.

make sure, you installed tcp/ip protocol for SQL server and client. Did you adjust both connection strings in your web.config appropriately?

Cheers from Germany,

I installed tcp/ip protocol for SQL server and adjust both connection strings previously.

In my PC, I got a backup to the database and then deleted it and restored it in new database with the same name and configurations, but I faced the same problem.

Tamer, please check permissions for the database user and his mapping to a sql server user.

Cheers from Germany,
