Actually,, now that I study this a bit, it looks like its not just the skins that are a problem.  It looks like all assets are not showing, not even any pictures that I have uploaded to my website.

Can anyone help please?

Thank you.

Sounds a lot like a folder/file path or permissions issue.

Hello,

Can you be a little more specific?  I have verified the permissions on the root folder for the NETWORK SERVICE, CREATE OWNER, and Administrator account for the machine as having full access.

It appears that it can find the text content, but none of the Skin and Menu information, or any of the graphics posted on the site.

Help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Elgin,
Depending on how comfortable you are with diagnostics I would recommend installing something called FireBug on a FireFox Browser. Once installed, you can right mouse click on any element on your page (like a missing image or text link) and select "Inspect Element". This will open a panel at the bottom of your browser and show you a ton of information about your page, the html of what you clicked on, css, paths, etc.

By looking at this information you might try and sort out where DNN "thinks" you skin files a located and then confirm that they are indeed located there.

If you have a live link I would be happy to check for you.

Steven,

Thank you for the reply.  I have inspected various elements and paths are correct and the files are there:

        src="http://localhost/Portals/0/Images/Globe.jpg"     or   src= "/mysite/portals/0/Skins/sL007_Blue/media/spacer.gif"   etc.

Sorry I took so long to reply.  I didn't get a notice that you had replied.  Are you available for consulting me?

Thank you.
