I have a problem with my site inhousesecurity.dk. I've Installed an SSL certificate and enabled it in DNN 05.06.02. Using https results in an error 404 when accessing any page. I can no longer access the HOST.







I've read in this, that there was a simmilar problem in earlier releases, and it should be fixed by now. Anyone got an idea, whats happening here.

Hi Michael,

Who is the issuer of the certificate? It may be improperly configured. I get a "Connection is Untrusted" message when trying to access https://inhousesecurity.dk/inHouse/

inhousesecurity.dk uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
The certificate is only valid for Parallels Panel

(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

Can you log in without the https? If not you may have locked your self out see this article http://www.datasprings.com/resources/articles-information/dotnetnuke-w-ssl

Do you have a recent backup you can restore from? If not you may need to access the database and remove the https alias from the portal alias table (I'm not positive so please double check this is correct first).

I solved the problem.

It seems, that it was a misconfig on my webhotel, not connecting the certificate to the domain. PLESK is the standard cert.
