Hello,
I'm moving some dnn sites (v4 and v5) to a iis 7 installation. In your opinion which is better, framework 3.5 (seen as 2 in apppool properties) or 4?

DNN versions prior to 5.4.x did not automatically sense that the AppPool was running ASP.Net 4.0 and make the necessary web.config changes so I would stick with 2.0/3.5 SP1 for those sites until they are upgraded. As of DNN 5.6.2 and even with the upcoming DNN 6.0.0, there are no features (other than hosting a Razor module) which would require 4.0. On the other hand, a switch to 4.0 would bring some potential improvements in XHTML rendering by ASP.Net server controls, use of services, etc. as outlined in this whitepaper:
