Hi DNN,

I am new to DNN. I am facing issue during the DNN installation. Below is the my query

I started the installation manually using source code from sourcesafe. Everything was fine until i reached to SMTP host setting.

I had inserted my gmail account as smtp host. I entered the below entries.

(1)selected basic
(2)selected SLL
(3)smtp.gmail.com
(4)my gmail id and
(5)my password.

All entries were corrected and also got the email after pressing next button  but it was giving me as error "UserName and Password both are not same" and i was not able to go ahead.

Could be your host is blocking SMTP port for access to gmail.

This may help you.

You also need to set your gmail id as Host Email at the settings part of Host Detail .
