Hi,

I like DNN and I want to install it in my site, but I have a problem: my hosting provider does not allow to create object in the sql server for dbo.
So I can't install DNN.

Is it possible to install without dbo objects, obviously disable something?
How?

Someone know if DNN will support in the future this kind of problem?

You may specify a different databaseOwner in install wizard or web.config prior to the installation.

You're right, I should change my hosting...but is so cheap.....
I'm from italy and a lot of people (that does not hava enough money) choose this hosting provider, in fact we have a modified version of DNN.
Before a few months ago we had also another restriction about the folders write permission, now we don't have this restriction but we have only the restriction on the dbo database user.
So I'd like to investigate if I can install the official version.
