Hi folks,

I have been witnessing a strange issue on my hosted DNN 5.X installation ...

The site reinstalls itself automatically every X weeks ( no real regular pattern ) ... and when doing so the machine configuration hash is changed and as such users cannot log in anymore ... The site keeps on working fine but obviously this is rather 'unhandy' ... the site is down while the installation runs and afterwards users cannot log in anymore ...

I have to recopy my backed up web config file when it happens and then the users can obviously log in again ...

I already asked my hosting provider if they could identify a reason from their end ... server maintenance, backups, whatever ...but they didn't came up with a potential reason ...

Does anyone have any clues on why this is happening ?

Thanks,

Steven
