I've recently installed  a new Dotnetnuke 6.1.5 source locally. The installation went ok and it works logging in in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer. In IE i just get thrown back to the page i was thying to login from and the system does not log me in. The password is correct and I get error trying with wrong password. I've tried clearing the cach, adding the site to trusted site but with no luck. I've also added a new user, trough Registration in IE browser, but I can't login with that user either.

I have an other Dotnetnuke site installed locally as well, an older version upgraded to 6.1.5, with no problem logging in in IE.

Anyone have any ideas?

/Pia

What verions of IE are you using?  What's the error that it displays?

I'm using IE9, and there is no error showing, I just get a postback and the login "frame" closes and I get back to the page where I pressed the Login link.

Probably you have an underscore in the local URL.

Thanks! Removing the underscore in my local URL fixed it.
