I know SQL Server 2012 is not currently listed as support on the DNN requirements page, but is anyone using DNN on it?  I am moving to a new server that has 2012 available and would rather not have to re-install Sql Server 2008 R2 on it amd then re-upgrade it later.

Thanks,
Mike

I installed DNN 6 on my local dev machine with SQL Server 2012 and no issues.

I am using installation video which is posted on download page of DTN.  I am running SQL 2012 trial edition.  My problem is when I try to add DefaultAppPool in security panel under the DNN folder, it would prompt with "name not found" in a new window.  I have followed direction so far perfectly, but can't move any further.  Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

unless you are planning to offer hosting, I suggest using "Network Service" as identity for your application pool and login for SQL (using integratedsecurity=True within the connection strings specified in web.config file).

I have it running a few DNN sites with no issues.

Like Sebastian stated, use the network service account and everything should be OK.
