I've updated my web.config to compile in debug mode and I"m seeing this error when I do just about anything;

Exception Details: System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: file

var fileInfo = FileManager.Instance.GetFile(portalSettings.PortalId, portalSettings.LogoFile);Line 133:
headerImage.ImageUrl = FileManager.Instance.GetUrl(fileInfo);

Selecting "View" mode from admin bar throws error above, as does running SQL
I've also noticed that the list of modules only contains HTML on new child page. I cannot see settings, delete a page or rearrange page order on Page Management page. Any ideas? This installed under .Net 2.0, but I updated the AppPool to 4.0 because of a module I installed which needed 4.0. Thanks, Jay

A couple of other things that throw the same error:

 Synchronizing files and Upload portal logo.. (I thought uploading a portal logo would stop the value cannot be null.

 Another update.. I'm able to see all modules in drop down of the add module link when I changed the skin from the default Dark Knight..

 Lots of bugs with this particular install..

I was able to fix this by adjusting the Account the v4.0 account runs under.. changed it to NetworkService from ApplicationPoolIdentity and it works.. it must have been a file permissions issue.  I didn't see how to give the ApplicationPoolIdentity permissions for read write on the application folder.. but NetworkService already did.. so changing it to NS worked.  Not sure what the difference is otherwise.
