Hello,

It's been a long time since I visited.  My DNN portals work well, and I've been quite happy.  However, on the most recent website I'm building I would like to add an image carousel.  It is my understanding that this was available at 5.0, but most of the ones I've found require a later version, so I'm looking at upgrading.

I remember the original setup was extremely painful for me, since I'm likely not on the same level as many of you when it comes to webpage design.

I don't want to lose any functionality from my older custom modules.

I'm hosted by Godaddy.com, and I remember they made it kinda difficult to get things setup properly.

So, my question is, how much work am I going to be dealing with to upgrade to the most recent version?

Failing that can anyone recommend a good image carousel that would work with 5.0.0?

Thanks!

perhaps one of the ones on http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Create-an-image-rotator-slideshow.aspx (such as the java one) would work.

Thanks for the reply!

I had looked at that site and tried a couple. However it says it requires 5.4.4 to work. I'll give it a try though!

It looks like I was having problems because it required a framework update! So it does work on 5.0! I was able to do a nearly instant, and very easy framework update and it was up and running!

Thanks for your help!
