Installing DNN 6.2 on Server 2008 SR2 IIS 7.5 Problem

OK, so I downloaded the 6.2 Community edition. Unzipped it to the right folder. Created a database. Setup a user for it.

The way I need it to run is http://mywebsite.com/dnn6site  where dnn6site is the application on my site which is dotnetnuke 6.2.

Created an application pool, and assigned my application to it.

Opened IE, ran http://mywebsite.com/dnn6site and got a 500 error.

If I open dnn6site folder as a website through Visual studio and run it then it runs and installs just fine, but it won't do it  through the URL.

Please help!

P.S. If I copy and paste other files (web.config, default.aspx) from another site (not dnn) into the dnn6site folder - it runs just fine.

Did you "trust/unblock" the zip-file after download and before extracting (as shown in the tutorial videos)?
If you are locally (or via RDP) on the server: Can you reach the site with http://localhost/dnn6site ?

Yes, I did the trusted version of unzip.

no, question is whether you entered file properties of downloaded install zip and chose "unblock" at the button of the first tab.

Yes I did that.

I also tried to set it up where my dnn6site is set up as a subdomain (http://.dnn6site
mywebsite.com/
) and everything works!

But I NEED it to be set up as http://mywebsite.com/dnn6site.

500 error is all I get.
