Hi,

I have a DNN 6.2.3 portal installed on AWS EC2 with IIS 7 running on Win 2008r2 with SQL Server Express 2008. I have been having problems with it finding the wwebsite even though I have double and triple checked that the site files exist and the permissions are correct. The error I am receiving is

ModuleName IIS Web Core
Notification 16
HttpStatus 404
HttpReason Not Found
HttpSubStatus 0
ErrorCode 2147942402
ConfigExceptionInfo
Notification MAP_REQUEST_HANDLER
ErrorCode The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002)

The application is DotNetNuke 6.2.3 and the application was running correctly before I made some changes to the Default website. I ended up deleting the Default website and creating a new website using ASP.NET 4.0.

It seems like IIS cannot find the files for my portal even though the URLs look correct in IIS Manager and in Windows Explorer.

I hope someone has a fix for this as my website has been down for days now.

Thanks,
Frank

Delete your entry in IIS and add it again. I've seen similar issues in the past and recreating the site in IIS has worked.
