Mine was fixed by reading the Blog about Firefox 17. What fixes the module problem also fixes the edit problem, at least for me.
I did send a comment asking if the problem will be fixed properly in the future so we can turn hardware acceleration back on in the browser in the future but that wasn't passed by the moderator/writer (Ken Grierson) and so has effectively been been censored or just ignored.
Shame nothing has been said by DNN on this thread either! - (Sebastian?)

... makes sense, none of the DNN API call's will work without the:

<system.webServer>
<modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true">

as they don't have extensions. Can't believe that was missing in a final build!

Can someone at DNN please address this? It seems there are many threads about this. Some people seem to have gotten past it, but I for one have not despite trying all of the "fixes" described.

I discovered that if I switch from the hosted jquery version to the local v1.7.2, most of the functions now work for me. Still seems a little buggy but I can now edit my sites!

I have a same Problem to working with Page Tools like Adding Modules, Editing Pages, View Layouts and same actions.... regarding your notes,my DNN 7 useing ASP.Net 4 in integrated mode also.

 

How to resolve my problem? how to fix it? please help me if you now.
