We upgraded from 6.2.4 to 7.0 without errors, however the functions on the Admin and Host pages no longer work and instead of tabs, the functions are all in one column, the drop downs don't work, the Edit link doesn't work on any of the pages.

The jQuery settings are set to Hosted and using:
Hosted jQuery URL:  http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/...
Hosted jQuery UI URL:  http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/...

What else should I be looking for?

Thanks,

I am working through some problems also- on a new install of 7.0.2. I did go to the host settings and change to the ribbon bar and found that I could do most things.

There is an error that may be causing the problem but I'm not certain what to do about it:

Message: '$.dnnComboBoxScroll' is null or not an object
Line: 758
Char: 5
Code: 0
URI: http://Mysite.net/Admin.aspx

Message: Object doesn't support this property or method
Line: 455
Char: 9
Code: 0
URI: http://Mysite.net/Admin.aspx

Any idea what causes this?

Thanks

this answer worked for me to solve the problems on my site:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/190/postid/473433/scope/posts.aspx

1. backup your web.config

2. Open your web.config in a text editor

3. within the web.config file, find the <system.webserver><modules> section.

4.  If the <modules> section says <modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="false"> change it to <modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true">
OR
if it just says <modules>, change it to <modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true">

5. Save the config file.

refresh page and test.

I got great results :)

Yipee
