Hi

I am using GoDaddy hosting for new DNN website and i have installed DNN 7.0, but when i am accessign the website below error is coming,

Server Error in '/web' Application.
Could not load file or assembly 'ClientDependency.Core' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded.

I know this is due to .Net Framework version issue, but when i contacted GoDaddy hosting support they are saying in hosting it is .Net Framework 4.0.
After that confirmation also still the page is showing same error.
My website url is www.kkgiftworld.com

Godaddy is either wrong or lying. You can see the version of the .net framework that your website is running at the bottom of the page:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.4234; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.4223

Go back and tell them to check it again and change it. If they don't, consider moving to a hosing account that offers better support.

It is most definitely because the Application pool is running in 2.0 not 4.0.

I love godaddy for domains, but hate them for hosting.... All my personal opinion of course

Okay I have a different issue with GoDaddy here is my issue.

I am having issues on my restore for www.kustomwebdesigns.info - I was able to restore the site on GoDaddy but here is issue I am having. Orgionally this DNN install was running in the root directory and when I upgraded my hosting account with them they now don't allow installation to their root directory. I now have the installation in a subfolder called \dnn - This is where I restored the files from the backup that I had. It appears like I need to change the path on one of the aspx files because when you goto the www.kustomwebdesigns.info site it's in a loop - and never goes to the home page this is also the case with the other domains that we host.

I have been searching the internet trying to find a solution but haven't found one that explains how to change from root to a subfolder. Can you steer me to a article or a solution for the issue that we are having?

I used the Evotiva restore wizard to restore the website.
