I have changed the applicationHost.config setting: 

<section name="handlers" overrideModeDefault="Allow" />

Still I get the 

HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error 

Error Code    0x80070021

 

Config Source:

 67: <system.webServer> 68: <modules> 69: <add name="RequestFilter" type="DotNetNuke.HttpModules.RequestFilter.RequestFilterModule, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" preCondition="managedHandler" />

The application config file does not have any :  

<add accessType="Allow" users="*" />




This has been done:


Do not configure the Web site to use UNC Passthrough authentication to access the remote UNC share. Instead, specify a user account that has the appropriate permissions to access the remote UNC share.






This one has permissions:


  1. IIS_IUSRS, 
 Any more suggestions or ideas?

When installing IIS 8, I found that the Application Sever and Web Server needs to be installed as well. Here are some links that I have found helpful:

Now I have been able to get the database installed, I get the page can not be displayed error.

To get DNN to install the database, I had to first try to create the database without the database created on SQL Server. After creating the database on the SQL Server, then DNN could create the database.
