I ran a test upgrade of my main 3.1.1 site to 3.3.2.

I carefully read the upgrade instructions and I absolutely updated My Machine and Decryption keys to match my original Web.Config.

I kept a copy of the original and have checked and rechecked it against the new file.

After running the upgrade I was able to enter the site because I had checked the button to save my login.

After logging out, I am not able to login again.  I get an incorrect password error on any login I try.

My host login password is 7 characters, and I have tested changing the default to 5 as well.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Is only your host login affected?

I've got the same problem and I had a vanilla new install of 4.0.3. Neither the admin nor the host default accounts can login.

I've fixed my problem, I failed to update the <machineKey /> in my web.config.
