Hello,

I am new and was hoping someone would be able to give me a bit of assistance.

Currently I am unable to figure out how to put the Google Tag Manager Code into my site. I have seen the video on YouTube, but it looks like his version of DNN is a bit newer than the one I am working with.

When I enter Admin- Advanced Settings I see the option of Google Analytics, but have not had any luck poking around to install GTM.

Is there anyone who could perhaps help me out? I appreciate the feedback.

Charlie,

I don't know which version you are using, but Google did some changes in its API (more or less) recently.

You could use Will Strohl's Content injection module (https://github.com/hismightiness/dnne...) for the JavaScript part and this as well or a standard HTML module for the HTML part.

Happy DNNing!
Michael

Thanks Michael,

I'm having trouble with finding the section I can go about adding the 2 Part code manually.

In the basic features section, For the Analytics, it just simply is a matter of adding the UA Tracking ID. Below that there is a URL parameter.

Is there another basic feature I should be adding the GTM into?

The other basic features include:
Advanced Configuration Settings
Device Preview Management
Event Viewer
Extensions
File Management
Google Analytics Pro
Keywords
Languages
Lists
Newsletters
Page Management
Recycle Bin
Search Admin
Search Engine Site Map
Security Roles
Site Log
Site Redirection Management
Site Settings
Site Wizard
Skins
Taxonomy
User Accounts
User Switcher
Vendors
