Hi

I will sign up for a new webbhotell for a friend. I will use the webbhotell i use. But know they add every new account on a windows server with ASP.NET 2.0 and not ASP.NET 1.1

What version should i use? DNN 3.3.4 or 4.3.4?
Can i user 3.3.4 on ASP.NET 2.0. The only reasen could be that i have bouth some modules, and downloaded some for free that supports 3x but i dont know if they should work on 4x. Its not soo important but it would be nice to use some of them and therefore im interested to install 3.3.4

Maybe someone else have thoughts way i should take 4.3.4 instead.

Greatful for help!

if you're using asp.net 2.0, you should use 4.3.4. You can use 3.3.4, but it requires a bit of tweaking (read the installation guide to see what). Almost all 3.x modules work under 4.x, as asp.net 2.0 is backwards compatible with asp.net on a binary level. In addition, at some point in the future we will stop developing for the 3.x branch, and only develop the 4.x branch (at the minute we're syncronising the two versions, which is a large overhead in extra work and testing)
