I succesfullly installed DNN 4 on my w2000 server and everything works fine. There is however one problem: the first time a website is called, it takes between 20 and 30 seconds before it appears. The serverlog contains an error when that happens:

The operating system returned the error '997(Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.)' while attempting 'OpenService' on 'SQLWRITER' at 'secexpr.cpp'(1341).

The source is MSSQL$SQLEXPRESS and the user is IWAM_<servername>. After the first call everything is ok and the site works fine. After a while (some 10 minutes) of inactivity, the problem reappears.

I am using SQL server 2005 Express. I have tried synchronising the IWAM_<servername> account using the synciwam.vbs IIS admin script, but that did not work.

The server is updated and did not have any problems befoor installing DNN. I don't know what to do next. Please help!

TIA

Tom Sanders
