This may be covered somewhere already, but I cannot find concise instructions and I have a production installation to deal with. Consequently I cannot afford to slip up without causing pain to the company.

I have installed DNN too many times to count, but have never had to upgrade before. We have a Windows2003/Sql2000 back end and a load-balanced/redundant pair of Windows2003 machines as the front end. The original DNN site was installed from the 4.0.2 installation package but has had numerous custom modules added since.

So I have two problems really

  • Firstly, what exactly do I need to do to upgrade a basic two-server installation?
  • Secondly, what do I need to do to the second front end box? Presumably I just copy the web site from the box where I do the upgrade.

Thanks in advance.

Bill
