I installed DNN as outlined in the docs but I get "ERROR: Could not connect to database." when I navigate to the page to run the installer.  Not sure why the error appears because the installer created a table and three procs so the database connection is valid.  I've tried several times to get past this with no success.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

If you can't connect to the database, there must be a problem with the connection string in the web.config file as far I know. Did you remember to add your connection string in 2 places - connectionStrings and appSettings groups?

If there is a problem in the connection string then how could the installer create a table and three stored procs on the database?  The connection string is correct, the database is set and I've verified access.  I even created a seperate page to add and drop a table using the same credentials.  Even though we are a .net shop I've given up on DNN.  I installed Joomla in about 15 minutes and have had no problems.  Sure can't say that for DNN.

Installing DNN 4.3.5 is the same as go foot to Moon... it simple not easy as you told + it can't connect do database (SQL)... but the 3.3.5 connect as it should... so don't tell us to go to Joomla! becouse Joomla! releases work and DNN not...

I am very disappoint with DNN, my opinion is that sucks and STOP TELLING THAT IS SO EASY TO INSTALL becouse that is bull****...
