I am a little confuse about the information in the Host>Portals Pages.

I created a child protals in my website for testing only. After several months. I found the pages of that portal are 87. But actually it only has 8 pages? So strange?

Is there some way to restrict the database and disk size for a website. It will be a terrible news if the user can upload anything without any restriction!!

By the way, Users value is correct.

The page quota doesn't work. I set the page quota to 3. But I still can have 5 pages. Is that because I use host account? And if I change to login as the admin. I delete 4 pages. It left one page only. But the admin account

can't add new pages?

Do I misunderstand the meaning of this page?

you can limit portal disc space (login as host and goto portal settings), since the latest version, you can also limit the number of users and pages. Due to technical reasons, there is no general limit for the database space used.

Hi,

In host > portals my portal (4.4.1) has 121 pages. The page quota of this portal is 144. Still when I try to add another page using the new button I get:

Adding this page will exceed the Page Quota for this site. Please contact your hosting provider for inquiries related to increasing your Page Quota.

  • Is there some sort of caching in this or does a schedule job has to run first?
  • Do pages in the garbage can count as pages in the page quota calculation?
  • Is there a page where I can see the disk size of each portal? (no the disk quota as in host > portals)

Thanks in advance,

Rudgr

Have a look into the source code, from memory I assume, that pages in the garbage counted as well as admin pages.

Hi Sebastian,

That would make sense as they can also be restored.

I cleaned the garbage can about half an hour ago, and now I can add the page without a problem!

Thanks!
