When I click on the "Register" button on the logon form, nothing happens.  Button click seems to fire and the site does a quick refresh, but no redirection to "Register" new user.  You can check it out at www.justhostit.com

I'm currently on DNN 4.04.01.  I've checked the Exception Logs and nothing is shown.  I've also tried this same experiment from different machines to rule out local machine config.  I've gone to the Admin\User Accounts\User Settings section and set "Require valid profile for registration".

I've initially built my site with User Resistration set to None.  Today I set the user registration to "Public"(I've also tried Private and Verified), but cannot get registration working.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is an issue with redirection, have a look at the URL after clicking "register". did you specify a link in "site settings" or "user settings" of "manage users"?

I think I have found the problem.  I had set the User Page to a page called "My Account".  I was hoping to have the "My Account" link on the menu, so I set the page security to "Registered User", and removed the "All User" permission.

This was working fine if you were already an account, however it's a catch 22 for a new account trying to Register.  Since they didnt have permissions for the page, when you clicked register it would not go anywhere.  Once I set the "My Account" page permission back to "All User" and set the page to Hidden, everything worked ok.

Without just creating a second "My Account" page with "Registered User" security, does anyone know of a better way to allow registered users access to their User Profile and other settings?

As a side note, I can vouch that there is a problem with the "Redirect after Login", "Redirect after Register" settings.  I had to set them back to blank to make my site function correctly.
