Hi

I am running dotnetnuke 3.2 with windows authentication enabled.  But my login gets reset after 30 minutes of inactivity.. how do i make sure that the user stays authenticated for longer?

  I have tried a few things to increase this timeout but none of them have helped.

What I tried:
    <authentication mode="Forms">
      <forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" timeout="480" />
    </authentication>
this should keep me logged in for 8 hours right? but it still resets after 30 mins of inactivity.  Along with that I have also increased Session timeout to 480 minutes by doing this:

        <sessionState
            mode="InProc"
            stateConnectionString="tcpip=127.0.0.1:42424"
            stateNetworkTimeout="10"
            sqlConnectionString="data source=127.0.0.1;Integrated Security=SSPI"
            cookieless="false"
            timeout="480"
        />

But still... if i log in as HOST and then continue to work and leave the site open for 30+ minutes then it will expire and log me out of Host account and log me into my windows authentication user account..

Would really appreciate some help with this as I have been having this problem for a long time and need to get it fixed soon as it annoys users when their data is lost after 30 mins.

thanks in advance!
