Hello

I have installed DNN and created a site that works great when I run it from Visual studio 2005. As it is ready to be deployed I am looking for some information how to do this, and I have found this:
1: Copy the website to your remote server

I configured the remote ftp server settings in visual studio and copied the site. When I go to my domain I only get a runtime error.

Do I need to contact the web-host and have them apply some specific settings for the site to work or is it supposed to work out-of-the-box after a copy?

The file paths are ofcourse totally different between my home PC (development) and the remote host, but I assume that DNN use relative paths for finding its resources.

If anyone can give me some help on this it would be great.
Best regards
Torbjörn

come on someone must have some input on this.
Is there any form of documentation on how a locally developed site is supposed to be deployed, I see a few threads on this but no answers at all?

Regards
Torbjörn
