Hi guys.
I'd like to put up some super fast htm pages with no database calls for the basic brouchure front end of the site and then I'd like DNN to take care of the membership area.  So for this I'd need default.htm and related htm pages and then DNN's Default.aspx to be renamed to something like members.aspx.

Is this a big change? Is it resonably doable?

Yes you can rename the default.aspx page but this will create a huge number of changes in the framework.
First you have to change in the files that install the DNN.
In the Logo skin object may be.
Change the friendly URL using the host account.
In this way you have to build the core framework project.

Also there are more files that need to change.

For futher inquires you are free to question?

Ray,

Simply change IIS so that the first default document it loads is default.htm.
