I need help configuring the admin email address that new registration emails get send from and to.

This was set up by default when the site was built and before the correct domain was in place.  I can't find the address its sending to anywhere in the admin settings.  I've changed the primary admin account to point to the address that I want it to go from and to but it has made no difference.  I need to get this sorted before I can put the site live.

The Admin email address is within the profile properties of the Admin account.  Just edit the Admin user.

Yes I tried this but for some reason it was still picking up the address from the original site alias.  I opted to delete that alias and now I'm in a whole new world of pain...  :o)

Please see new thread regarding being unable to log in...

All sorted now.  After a restore of the backup and changing the same settings all is well with the world once again.  :o)

The Admin email address as listed in the emails you are talked of is set under Admin > Site Settings - Advanced Settings - Other Settings - Administrator.
