I have just upgraded from v3 to the latest v4 build.

I have a page that users in a staff role at my company can access. It has the user account module on it to edit user details. Members of staff are not portal administrators.

Now when trying to edit users staff get 'you are not authorized to edit this user'.

Is there a way round this - so staff can edit users without having to make them portal admins?

I'm looking for a way to allow a user (non-admin role) to edit/add/delete users.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I never found a way of doing this without buying a 3rd party module.  All the ones I investigated weew too complex and/or too expensive when all I want is to let non-admin to edit user profiles.

I have been hoping someone would post a workaround, but no luck so far.

Let me know if you get anywhere....
