I’m using the following settings:
Server: smtp.gmail.com
Authentication: basic
Enable SSL: yes
Password: ***
These are the problems:
1st All messages sent from the site use the admin@mydomain.com account (from field)
2nd If the destination address at mydomain don’t exist, the catchall account don’t get it
3rd I cant´t use the feedback module cause I don’t know who sent the messages

Any ideas?
Thanks

Can you successfully send the test message?

Is Gmail providing your mail services for you?

1.) This is the standard DNN functionality, all messages will be sent from the admin account's email address

2.) If the e-mails are being delivered to actual addresses successfully this would be a setup issue with your mail provider

3.) You should be able to still use this module as far as I know..

Yes, test message sent successfully.

Yes, Gmail is providing @mydomain.com mail services with Google Apps.

1- Ok, but if i set the admin account to myname@mydomain.com, the messages are still sent from the admin@mydomain.com address and this is not supposed, right?

2 - Yes, i suppose so. Have u ever heard about this smtp with gmail apps problems before?

3  - But if all messages are sent from admin@mydomain.com how do i repply to the sender if i don't know who sent the message?

Thanks,

MM
