OK, I installed dotnetnuke a few months ago on Go Daddy. I've had it in the background and worked on the configuration off and on.  It was working. REALLY slow to start but it was working.

Well, I come back to it and I get the following error message:

There is not enough space on the disk.

How the heck can this happen? I haven't done anything to it.. I'm searching around trying to figure out what file it could be, and all the files are small...

I searched the forums for the error message and couldn't find it.

Any clues on how I start to figure this out?

Best,

Katherine

I would check with your hosting provider....sometimes they can do things that restrict your disk space.  If you have FTP access try to upload a file and see if it works.

I shouldn't be anywhere close to using up my space. And I'm on a shared server... about 5 minutes after I wrote this message, I had done nothing except browse the file folders trying to find an out of control log file, the error went away...

This does stink though... if the shared server can get so full it can't even pull up the application.

Ugghh!! I just went back and saw this error message:

  Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

I reloaded the page and it went away...

Hm, sounds like your hosting provider was having intermittent issues....if you don't mind me asking who are you hosted with?
