hope you can help. I have been experiencing a number of problems with my 441 install. It has been fine and all of a sudden I have been hit with a number of issues. View State - control tree, scheduler duplicate key issues, module load failure, and getting logged out randomly. I don't think it is a auth issue as even logged in as host I get logged out. I can navigate all through the site fine and then all of a sudden I get logged out. I noticed a large number of app restarts in my log. would this log me off? My site performance has been awful too. I was running great and then all of a sudden went south. I only use a couple of third party grlinkcombo and inventua side menu and magicnews.

I had compression on gzip/6 with whitespace on. turned it off no change. changed viewstate to page and cache to disk - no change.

thoughts as to what could cause this.

A bit late but I thought I would share my findings.

There were so many things going wrong at once when I posted this -- but I finally did stabilize the site. It turns out there were a couple of problems. The app pool was being restarted so I had my host isolate the pool for me. In addition, I put a trace on the site and noticed that the core events module was creating a lot of cookies (I have many instances on my site) When the cookie count reached 20 the auth cookie was dumped. This is why the users where getting logged out after visiting many pages with the events module on it. Turns out that this is a behavior of IIS. I let Alan know and he did some work with the cookies. Seems to be ok.

I am now on 455 and stable.
