Hi, I am trying to implement 2 solpart menus one vertical and one horizontal. I have gotten that to work, but now I am stuck. On the vertical menu I don't want all of the menu items shown, only the ones listed under "2nd menu items" on the horizontal menu. Please see the site I am working on: www.StreusPharmacyBayNatural.com. Is this possible to set up in my so it will only show the items below the "2nd Menu items" menu item on the vertical menu? If so, what tags do I need to add in my xml. I need to do it this way using solpart menus because they have submenus under them that need to be shown, and needs to be easy for the customer to update. Thanks in advance! Here is a screenshot:

Suggest you search on a little-documented SolPart menu parameter... StartTabID

Use this on your side menu and then set the upper "2nd Menu Items" tab to hidden.

Hope this helps

Hi thank you for your reply. I have done some searches on the forum and google and found one post. It didn't exactly tell me if I could implement it in my xml file, and I didn't quite understand where I would have to add the starttabid code. However I have just figured it out - YAY!!!!!! Here is what I had to do (the opposite settings from that post I found):

<Setting>
    <Name>rootonly</Name>
    <Value>false</Value>
   </Setting>
<Setting>
    <Name>level</Name>
    <Value>child</Value>
   </Setting>
  <Setting>
    <Name>StartTabID</Name>
    <Value>68</Value>

Thank you for your help Sam, otherwise I probably would have never figured it out!

Hi Skinjerski,

Sounds like you found a little known item that others would love to be able to use.  Mind putting a little narrative together to show how you did that?  Looks like once you finish the .css and "hide" the parent tab, you'll have what many have tried to accomplish.
